The Victorian Agricultural Shows Awards serve to recognise excellence in the agricultural show movement and is an initiative supported by the VAS Ltd Board & Sub Committee. The Awards will acknowledge the contributions of not just the Show Societies/Field Days and events hosted by them, but the people whose tireless efforts embody what the agricultural show movement is all about. It also aims to encourage teams and individuals to innovate and maintain their commitment to achieving excellence.

The Awards & Presentations will be announced during the annual VAS Ltd Convention Dinner held in conjunction with the Victorian Agricultural Shows Annual General Meeting weekend. The Awards is an opportunity for the industry to come together and celebrate the outstanding achievements within our movement.

Submission of Award Nominations

Nominations are open and close by 11th April 2025.

Best Innovation Nomination Form

This award is for innovation in an annual show or event hosted by a VAS Affiliated Show Society/Field Day. The innovation could include anything from new entertainment, new show section or idea that takes the local event experience to a new level.

Best Marketing Campaign Nomination Form

This award is for a marketing campaign for an annual show or event hosted by a VAS Affiliated Show Society/Field Day. The application could include but not limited to television advertising, radio, social media campaign, newsprint, data gathering or any other material that contributed to the campaign.

Outstanding Individual Contribution Nomination Form

This award acknowledges an individual who has made an outstanding contribution or achievement within one of Victorian Agricultural Show Societies or Field Days. Their work may have been to assist individuals or groups, or to develop competitions or programs to assist the society and their general community in which they operate. They may, for example, be a steward, a livestock donor, an organising volunteer, event marketer or executive member.

People’s Choice Award

This award provides the opportunity for the community to vote for its Most Popular Show or Field Day. Votes can be submitted by all Members of the Community which can include Committee Members, Show Exhibitors, Show Attendees etc.

All affiliates will be listed and you will be able to cast one vote per email address.

Voting will open on the 11th April 2025 & close on the 9th May 2025 at 11:59pm.
